Is It Ok For Your Massage Therapist To Text During Your Massage?

Absolutely NOT! I have worked with Many Massage Therapists in my Massage Career.It amazes me at the stupid things they will DO during a Professional Massage session. I’ve seen many “Bad Massage ” habits in my time! The worst one I believe is “Texting ” on their cellphone while massaging a client.

Bad habits are developed overtime if you the client doesn’t speak up! DON’T let your Massage Therapist get away with it! You are paying good money to get a quality massage. 💰 You as the client must make this clear to the Therapist. Tell them you don’t approve of them texting while your getting your massage! I seriously am appalled that The Massage Professional at times gets away with this. This is NOT ok! This is NOT standard practice! 😣

There are many things wrong with texting . The Massage Therapist should solely give you the client 100% attention! It’s completely unprofessional, disrespectful and selfish towards you the client! 🤤

I know we live in an era where people are seriously addicted to their phones period! So IF your Massage Therapist is addicted to their phone you must tell them how you feel. It interrupts your massage session. I know it starts of innocently at first. They just sneak peak on their phone to check a message… then before you know it their on Facebook posting! 😩 This is just plain bad service! Massage therapists need to be focused on you the client for the entire massage experience.

Texting while they are massaging you the client is never ok! Please speak up and say so at your first massage. Let Your voice be heard. Speak clearly to your massagetherapist so there’s NO communication problem. I for one am sorry IF you experience this. If it doesn’t stop I suggest you look elsewhere for another Massage therapist. 🤔

What Should You Do During Your Massage ?

This is your personal time to just RELAX during your massage! Time to close your eyes and immerse yourself into a state of quiet time. Listen to the soothing music being played in the background. Inhale all the aromatherapy smells around you. The lights are dimmed and the massage strokes are taking you into a comfort state… let everything GO! Leave the stress behind and E N J O Y That MASSAGE ! 😊

I never understand some people who FEEL like they have to talk ALL the way through the massage 😲… you are paying good money to RELAX. But hey it’s YOUR time do what you like. I talk before your massage session to ask you questions. This better prepares me to give you the best massage possible. It’s not required for you to talk unless your in pain. Or may be you want the pressure adjusted. Or maybe you have to pee ?😣 Please let your massage therapist know immediately… ! I have given up counting how many times clients hold it. I don’t get it ? If you got to pee then please tell us. We don’t mind . It will make for a much pleasurable massage for you if you do communicate.

Communication is important in a massage. Don’t get me wrong! I’m not complaining. Massage therapists need to know things before hand. During your massage it should be quiet time for you to shut your body down. This is your me time and make the most of it. I feel that when your quiet you relax much better. Your body receives the massage better. It then puts you in a better mood. It takes you to another level of an euphoric effect. Nothing gets better than that! NOTHING! 😊 Of course it’s YOUR time so experience your massage! AHHHHH! ❤

Do You Have Sore Muscles?

Have you ever experienced sore muscles before? Do you get regular massages? If not why not massage ? I’m sure some time in your life you have or perhaps even right now? What causes that ? Muscle soreness can be attributed to alot of things. It can be due to stress or tension in your body. Maybe you just started working out in a gym? If so you could wake up the next day feeling pain from hell! I know the feeling … not fun! You may have overworked your muscles to the point of exhaustion. Of course if that’s the issue you have inflammation as well. Been there done that too! Maybe your just fatigued and tired in your body ? 🤔

Whatever the reason is how can you get the muscle soreness to go away? One way is to ice the sucker real good . Then stretch out the aggravated area or areas. If this doesn’t seem to work I would highly recommend a massage! I personally DON’T understand why people live in pain when they DON’T have to! Get a therapeutic massage by a professional massage therapist who knows what they are doing! You might need a few sessions of massage depending on where your sore areas are. A licensed Massage Therapist who is skilled can help you! 😁

I know so many complain about the price of a massage. Look at it this way… Do YOU want to have the muscle soreness linger on and on ? Or DO you seriously want RESULTS to relieve the muscle soreness? To me it’s a NO brainer! I personally wouldn’t want to have that muscle aching more and more. It would drive me crazy! Trust me I know I have dealt with it before! I would be the first one seeking out massage as I know the results I would get ! Ask yourself … are you worth it? You work hard and how can you perform on the job or at home IF you have muscle soreness? Suck it up buttercup and GET A MASSAGE ASAP! You will THANK me later! 💆‍♂️💆‍♀️❤😁

Looking For A Massage Through A #Hashtag

Wow it seems like our world is evolving quicker than ever! Times are definitely changing! Gone are the days when you looked for a massage in the Yellow Pages. It’s definitely a thing of the past. It seems like things are just becoming obsolete in the digital world as well. People are now searching on social media for #hashtags on whatever they are looking for including massages! Social media seems to be where it’s at.. look at Facebook, Instagram , Twitter and YES even Snapchat. I guess it’s the NEW paradigm of the future? 🤔

So now that we are trending in the #hashtag world. IT can be easy or sometimes down right hard and confusing! It can definitely be tricky to find the right combo for a #hashtag. I still am trying to figure It out myself! Lol! Oh the shifting of how to navigate all this in the here and now. It sure doesn’t make it easy for businesses to advertise IF they can’t figure out the exact #hashtag their customers are using.It seems the social media platform changes rapidly? So I would think it’s important to stay on top of it. To know the right app at the right time seems to be critical. 😥

I know it sounds crazy right?! You probably think what the heck is she talking about? 🤣 Car and Massages?

Well let me break it down for you… how many shop for a used car? What do you think it’s important to look for? Is this car had regular maintenance? Regular oil changes? Well seriously is it reliable ? So when you buy it I bet you do all those things to it right? 🤓 Ok so now when it comes to your own body why don’t you take care of it ? 🤔 There’s NO better way to maintain your body then getting regular massages! This is absolutely ONE of the best ways to accomplish this. MASSAGE ! ❤

Massage is constantly being used for treating a variety of medical conditions. There are so many studies out there that proves that Massage Therapy can benefit you greatly! Massage prevents illness. It also prevents muscle pain and injury. If you workout you definitely need regular massages! It just amazes me that people DON’T seek out Massage therapy until they are in pain. I meet clients ALL the time that wait until they are in pain before they call. Most of them get back pain, neck and shoulder pain. It could be from sitting at a desk too long or working out hard. There is many different scenarios that happen. Sound Familiar? Massage Time !

People could absolutely avoid all this unnecessary pain by maintaining good health thru regular massage sessions. Massage is like the oil in your car. If you don’t do regular oil changes your car can break down or blow the engine. Massage helps your body work at the max by detoxing your immune system. It reduces your stress hormones. Your immune system works better by fighting off flu and cold viruses. Massage circulates blood through your body bringing all the needed oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and organs. Your lymphatic system also helps by draining all the body toxin junk out of your system.

Regular massages should be a part of your healthy regime of staying healthy and well! You change the oil in your car regularly so get massages regularly for your body to perform at its best! 😊
